We had another really great show and today even though Einstein had a day off I had school.
It’s okay because we had a big day planned after class…
First stop: Tower of London and Tower Bridge.
We walked from the Barbican past the large banks, like the Bank of England and the Royal Stock Exchange. I am pretty sure we saw Gringott’s too.
We walked on a street called Throgmorton that was kind of cool.
When we finally got to the river, I saw the London Bridge and I have to say I am shocked that it was so boring! I mean THAT is the London Bridge?
But, the BEST bridge is the Tower Bridge!
I was interested in the Tower of London and we walked all over the place. There are guards called Yeoman Warders.
Once I was ready, we found the Tower Hill subway station.
My very first trip on the London subway.
The ticket guy was funny and we got a day pass for only £7! All the rides you want and kids are FREE! I was nervous because people said the subway here was different, but other than the big space you have to jump over or step up (MIND THE GAP) it wasn’t that different from NYC.
We headed to Platform 1 on the green District line to South Kensington.
