This morning we went to the John Soane Museum. Greg told us we would like it. From the outside it doesn’t look like anything special, but when you go inside…that’s a whole other thing.
You can’t take pictures so my Mom found pictures of it on the Internet for you to see.
We spent some time looking at all of the rooms. There was a dark room down in the dungeon with a skull on the table and there were secret doorways and hallways on every floor. I got a keychain for my backpack.
After the house, we walked through the Lincoln’s Inn Fields park to Covent Garden. They were having a big birthday celebration for Punch and Judy, a popular puppet show here. There were Mr. Punch puppets everywhere. I got kind of freaked out because there were old people dressed up like Punch.
It was around lunch time, so we got on the bus back to St. Paul’s. We wanted to have lunch around that area. The Occupy people were having a protest on the front steps, so we watched them for a little bit. Behind the church on the back steps there was a bagpiper guard!
We had an early show, so we went back to the hotel to rest.
It was a fun show to do. Only ONE MORE LEFT!!
I can’t wait to go back home and see my Dad and my dog.
And go back to school.
