First, there was an earthquake in Mexico City.
I didn’t feel it but the door to my class was opening and closing.
We went to the Zocalo to see the Palacio Nacional for a field trip. The Zocalo is a huge square where they have parades. There was an old church with a pyramid under it on one side of the square. I saw these men that can clean the bad spirits off of you on the sidewalk. Basically the streets are crazy. The cars run you over and there are a lot of people.
Inside the Palacio, I learned about the history of Mexico. Anje pointed to all of the history on the mural. It was painted by Diego Rivera. I liked the museum in the Palacio.
Oh, we went into the post office across the street from the theater. It does not look like any post office we have in NYC.
