Yesterday, we got up and went on one of our adventures.
Everyone here lives in a cool building and has a bike with a child seat if they have children.
We crossed a lot of bridges over the canals. We found the zoo. We found a cafe that had poffertjes. Basically they are dough with butter and lots of powdered sugar. They were good!
We walked around and found parks and playgrounds and went into a place called Tun Fun. They built it in the old tunnel under the street. It’s a huge indoor playground with trampolines and slides and balls. We found different shops and the fattest pigeon I have ever seen! I was surprised it could fly.
We found another square and had lunch. Then…we went to Rembrandt’s House.
I got a book with questions I had to find the answers to. They gave me a prize at the end.
I was really lucky because we met the security guard and he let me sit at the easel. He also gave me an answer I couldn’t find! The painter in the room is on the fireplace tile- that’s the answer.
I had pasta pesto from the cafeteria at the theater, played ball, and did a cheers for Kate’s birthday.
I’d say that was a pretty good day.
