I Am Almost A Fifth Grader

I am really happy to be home and on a break from the tour. I am excited about how September at BAM is going to be because everyone is saying how popular the tickets are and asking how to get them. But I have been having fun with my friends at school.

We got home and had our school picnic in the park. It was so much fun. I think it might have been the best one we have ever had.

We had the 5th Grade graduation and lunch. It was really hot in the auditorium, but I think everyone liked the song the 4th graders sang. I learned it really quick because I missed some of the rehearsals when I was in Canada.

We had the best Ice Cream party the next day. It was so much fun. I ate 4 bowls of ice cream and everyone danced. Kenton was our DJ and made everyone laugh then Emmy and Colin took over and played The Final Countdown for the last song. It is my all time favorite song.

For a end of school treat me and my Dad and Gideon went to the Red Bulls Game. They beat DC United. It was so good. I got a jersey and ate hot dogs. We got home at 11pm. It was late.

This year has been so great.

I can’t wait to see how it feels to be a 5th grader.

Last Show in Toronto

We had fun all day!
In the morning I went to the pool to meet Jonah and Molly! We made up games to play. I was really excited to meet them.
After I got changed out of my swim suit, my Mom wanted to go lunch near St Lawrence Market. We ended up just going to a place where the Italy vs. Spain game was on, so I could see the beginning. We walked through Woofstock again and I got some more treats for Paulie.
After the show ( I waved to Jonah and Molly!), we went back to the hotel to eat dinner, then we went to see Rufus Wainwright do a concert. It was cool and we saw a lot of Einsteins there when we were leaving.
We got back to the hotel and saw MORE Einsteins!

Hockey Hall Of Fame

I saw the original Stanley Cup. It was a lot smaller than the one they use now.

There was a Picasso exhibit and I got some Bucky Balls for my dressing room.

Opening Night in Toronto

It was a great day yesterday.
I woke up late and swam in the pool. The pool is the best part of the hotel.
When we got to the theater, we saw a news camera!
Before the show Andrew gave me a piece of ocean jasper he found in a stone store.
The show was really good and people were clapping after almost every scene. It felt exciting.
There was a big party after the show. We walked over with Melanie and Solange and Charles.
The big bodyguard said I couldn’t go in because there was an age limit and I said “What?” That wouldn’t be fair.
My Mom explained that I was in the show, so he said “Oh! Okay.” There was a red carpet and everyone was really fancy inside. There were a lot of people and it was loud. A lady from Paris who saw the show said I was her favorite part!
Jason got me some water. I was only allowed to stay for a few minutes like regular, but I had fun and was ready to leave when my Mom said it was time to go. There was a big screen on the wall that you could write things on. Someone wrote LCDC Rules. Lucinda saw it and got really happy!!
We got to the hotel and I couldn’t even take a shower I was so tired.
I love my hotel bed.

Around the Sony Center

Right outside of the theater is a nice neighborhood. It’s past the financial district. There is a big indoor market with all kinds of stores and food to eat called St. Lawrence Market. There is also a Flatiron building! We had dinner at a place called Great Burger Kitchen yesterday during a break from rehearsal and the man gave us a discount and free drinks!
It has been really fun in Toronto because everyone hangs out in the Green Room by my dressing room. There are the best snacks and food here. We have been playing Draw Something with each other, but I have played the most with Brad. He’s my good friend and helps me the most if I need something.

Ps: A lot of people were happy because we did a dress rehearsal last night, but I left after Building because it was really late. It’s okay though because we did Spaceship in the afternoon. Bob said Hi to me when I was in the elevator. My elevator goes really high in Toronto. I can’t believe we are in Canada!

School in Toronto

I have been working on my Immigration Magazine with my teacher Deborah, but for Math we made a survey to graph.
I asked some of the Einstein company where they would want to live.
Michelle said New York City or Boston. Pat said New York City, too.

City Hall

We got home really late from rehearsal and got to see all the lights on the buildings on the walk back to the hotel.
This is city hall and it looks like something Rick Riordan would use in one of his books. I am finally about to start Serpent’s Shadow, the last book of the Kane Chronicles.

Loonies and Toonies

We got some Canadian money from the bank and they call the big coins loonies and toonies.
